European Venous Forum Meeting 2024: Athens Awaits
Venue and Date: The EVF meeting in 2024 will be held at the Royal Olympic Hotel in Athens, a location known for its proximity to historic and spectacular areas of the city, such as the Athens museum, Monastiraki market, and Syntagma square. This venue was also the host for the successful 2018 EVF meeting.
Program Highlights:
Didactic Sessions: The meeting will cover a range of topics including new developments in the management of Venous Thromboembolism (VTE), updates on practical phlebology, and Chronic Venous Disease (CVD).
Joint Sessions: There will be joint sessions with the American Venous Forum (AVF) and, for the first time, with the European Society of Vascular Surgery (ESVS).
Balkan Venous Forum: A special session by the Balkan Venous Forum is scheduled for Saturday afternoon.
Invited Lecturer: The 2024 EVF Invited Lecturer is Professor Alex C Spyropoulos, a renowned thrombosis expert from Hofstra University, New York, USA.
Target Audience: The meeting is primarily aimed at Vascular Surgeons and Residents, but also welcomes General Surgeons, Angiology Specialists, Phlebologists, Interventional Radiologists, Vascular Medicine Specialists, Dermatologists, Nurses, Technicians, and all others interested in venous disease management.
